Jason Diamond at Flavorwire named Songs “book of the week” and wrote a kind, smart, unexpectedly music-centered review: HERE.

Detroit’s Metro Times, a weekly that was once kind enough to feature an old band of mine on its cover—several hundred issues ago—ran a short review that drew attention to the humor in the book, a gesture I’m grateful for.
